Since 1921, Alpha Gamma Rho has been building better men at Oklahoma State University. Men who live up to the high ideals that the brothers before set, ideals that we strive for in our daily lives. We strive to uphold the high morals and standards that we believe in while “Making Better Men.”
Alpha Gamma Rho isn’t like other fraternities. In AGR, you’ll have the opportunity to experience both a social and a professional fraternity. AGR recognizes the importance of socializing with other students on campus and in the community, fostering relationships with other chapters in the OSU Greek community, and building a strong brotherhood within the chapter.
But, AGR is more than a fraternity stereotype; it is also a professional fraternity. AGR builds members’ career interests within agriculture and other related industries and assists in networking with other alumni in the workforce.
No matter your background, AGR is proud to have an inclusive environment for all enthusiasts of agriculture. Many believe you have to be an agricultural major to join the fraternity, but that is not the case. Alpha Gamma Rho is for any young man preparing for any agriculture or food-related career, including food science, biotechnology, agri-marketing, environmental science, and other related fields, or who shares a love for the agricultural industry.
Alpha Gamma Rho is the fraternity sharing a common bond within a dynamic, global agriculture committed to fostering the highest values and providing each and every brother with superior life-long personal development and professional success.
